About Twilio SMS Integration

The Twilio integration adds SMS as a notification channel for Booga workflows. Time-sensitive alerts — compliance violations, agent errors, critical report completions — can be delivered via text message to ensure immediate visibility, even when stakeholders aren't at their desk.

How this integration works

→ Event-driven SMS: Trigger text messages from specific workflow events like compliance flags, agent failures, threshold breaches, or scheduled completions.

→ Recipient management: Define SMS recipients per workflow,specific users, roles, or external phone numbers.

→ Message templates: Configure message content with dynamic variables pulled from agent outputs and workflow data.

→ Delivery confirmation: Twilio delivery status is logged for each message sent, providing an audit trail for compliance-sensitive notifications.

→ Tenant-scoped: Each tenant configures their own Twilio credentials. SMS sending is isolated per organization.

Getting Started

1. Navigate to Integrations in your Booga dashboard.

2. Select Twilio SMS and enter your Account SID and Auth Token.

3. Configure sender phone number and default recipient list.

4. Map workflow events to SMS triggers.

5. SMS alerts now fire automatically from platform events.
